Recently, at the invitation of a kind-hearted lady, Kristen Busby, Fansidea participated in a very meaningful event. It was a charity tournament held for the community by the Junior Auxiliary Angel Tree organization of Nashville.

The Junior Auxiliary of Nashville hosts the Angel Tree Project every year. On December 3, 2022, the Junior Auxiliary Angel Tree Team, in partnership with Nashville City Park and with the help of the Busby family, host a toys for tots slow-pitch softball tournament called "Slamming for Santa." This is the third year that the Busby family helped holding the softball tournament. It is always a huge event for the community because it is so close to Christmas and Christmas is very important to their community.
Kristen Busby told us they had 10 teams participated this year and had their largest toy donation to date. They were originally worried that the tournament would not be able to proceed due to the rainy weather but they were blessed with one day of sunshine on the day of the tournament. The tournament ended up being a major success. Players need to bring toys or pay a $10 admission fee to participate in the tournament. They ended up raising about 160 toys and $140 in donations. The toys will go to families and children in need in the area.
Fansidea custom sportswear was donated for this special event with a meaningful Junior Auxiliary Angel Tree embroidery patch created in collaboration with Kristen and Fansidea. When Kristen Busby approached us with a sponsorship proposal, we jumped at it. The company had always wanted to give back to the community after its small growth. When there is such an opportunity to participate in charity activities, we hit it off with Kristen Busby and provided 20 custom t-shirts, button up jerseys, and hoodies of mixed colors(Custom Christmas 3D Baseball Jersey/Custom Christmas 3D Hoodie) as first-place prizes and raffle prizes for this tournament.
We couldn't be happier to think that we also helped a little bit with these kids in need. We are also very grateful to the Junior Auxiliary of Nashville and the Busby family for being able to combine sports and charity in this way and truly embody the spirit of sportsmanship. And we will continue to participate in charitable activities to give back to the community in any field, such as sports, music, art and so on. Caring people are welcome to contact us when they need sponsorship.
